Real Alcatraz Tweet

As a follow-up to my post on the Alcatraz characters, here's something funny.  The real Alcatraz does Twitter, and they are distancing themselves from the TV show and the movie The Rock.

Fox40 reports that because of the TV show, people "are snooping around in closed off areas."  

I suppose you could get bragging rights for being arrested at Alcatraz.

    My favorite glimpse of Alcatraz is from the Mike Myers movie So I Married An Axe Murderer (there was an eccentric tour guide in the form of Phil Hartman) :)

    Hello! I'm new to your blog from the critique blogfest, and I'm happy to meet you!

    I think your blog looks great - easy to read and interesting posts. I just started watching Alcatraz also!

    The only thing I'd change is the word verification. For some reason, I always misspell those darn words and have to try again. I find them very frustrating.
