Since I'm going to occasionally teach the Jr./Sr. High Sunday school at my church, I had to get a background check.
As you can see, it shows I have no record.
Anyone who will work with minors at the church has to get a background check. Kind of a different world we're living in.
Not really.
ReplyDeleteOver a decade ago I had to pass a F.B.I. background check to sub for a school district. Then I had to do another for a government job.
This kind of thing is what we do nowadays. But there's no guarantee that the net will trap all the psychos. Just look at Penn State.
Yeesh, I hope they don't check for speeding tickets. My husband would never be able to volunteer for anything :)
